West Jakarta Sub-dept. of Transportation has netted 1,803 vehicles during illegal parking raid from January 25 to March 21, 2016.
1,803 vehicles are both public and private transport
Those vehicles were given sanction in form of ticketing, stopping operation, and removing tyre’s valve.
“1,803 vehicles are both public and private transport,” said Bona Siregar, West Jakarta Head Section of Monitoring and Handling for Sub-dept. of Transportation, Wednesday (3/23).
S. Jakarta Involves University to Prevent Illegal ParkingAccording to him, 320 vehicles were given ticketing sanction, 108 vehicle's operation stopped, 725 motorcycles, 41 three-wheeled, and 262 cars’ tires were removed.
“66 motorcycles and 281 cars were also towed,” he added.
Similar operation will still be held in eight sub-districts of West Jakarta.
