Joint personnel controlled poultry in Sumur Batu Urban Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The raid held by Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Maritime, Fishery and Food Tenacity (KPKP) was aimed to anticipate bird flu spread.
Raid will be also held in other urban villages
M. Mulyadi, Central Jakarta Head of Sub-dept. of KPKP, said anticipation must be held even though no bird flu cases found in Central Jakarta.
“There are two poultries and one chicken slaughtered, 17 poultry owners warned, 54 poultries certified, and seven cages burned,” he said, Thursday (3/24).
