Manholes of water channel on Jalan Pinang Raya RW 02, Pondok Labu Urban Village, Cilandak Sub-district were uncovered by PPSU personnel, Thursday (3/24).
If rain pours, water would inundate the road around the channel
Siti Fauziah Ghozali, Pondok Labu Urban Village Head, admitted that the channel did not function well due to full with trash and mud.
According to her, the channel was never been dredged for almost 30 years.
Channel on Jalan Lorong 104 Dredged“Channel was also covered by manhole. If rain pours, water would inundate the road around the channel,” she said.
Personnel dredged the 100 meter water channel from mud and soil.
“The effort will be done quickly to overcome puddle around the area,” she added.
