Along January until March 27, South Jakarta Social Sub-dept managed to control 643 people with social welfare issues (PMKS). Those were netted from 11 points such as Mampang Prapatan, Lebak Bulus, Pondok Indah, Fatmawati, Patung Pemuda, Patung Pancoran, CSW, etc.

"We bring the netted PMKS to the social house," said Head of South Jakarta Social Sub-dept, Mursidin Nasir, Monday (3/28).

Nasir expressed that his dept is trying to minimize child exploitation case in South Jakarta. That is by placing officer of Service, Supervision and Social Control (P3S) at 11 points prone to PMKS.

"Social Dept is rather to prevent child exploitation," he expressed.

He added, the P3S officer once again secured two children who were begging under the Mampang Prapatan Flyover, and then immediately taken to the Cipayung Social Institution Bina Insani (PSBI) to be given guidance.

"This is free. They will get guidance for 21 days," he said.
