City Targeted to Vaccine 18,000 Wild Animals

Wild animal vaccination keeps continued by Jakarta Provincial Government. It is targeted to vaccine 18,000 animals a year.

Darjamuni, Jakarta Head Dept. of Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Tenacity said the effort is applied for cats, dogs, and so on.

“Our target is vaccinating 18,000 wild animals,” he said, Tuesday (3/29).

425 Animals Spread Rabies in Seribu Islands Vaccinated

According to him, animal vaccination is aimed to free Jakarta from rabies. Suppressing wild animal population is also done through castration.

“We also invite animal organization during the process. The information would be uploaded to Smart City,” he added.
