Pulo Besar III Residents Demand Compensation

Residents of Jalan Pulo Besar III, RT 09/11, Sunter Jaya Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-District, North Jakarta, are demanding compensation to office project developer on Jalan Raya Yos Sudarso. Because of the developer’s project, residents’ houses are cracking.

Afrida (50), a local, admitted that she has not received compensation of her damaged house. Her house, which located precisely next to the office building, is cracked on its floor and walls. “Almost half of my house walls are cracking, even the house garage is raised,” she complained, Friday (4/18).

According to her, the developer promised to give compensation same like her neighbor whose house also damaged on last January. The developer also promised will fix her house after office construction finished.

Responding this matter, Nasir, who represents the developer, stated that his party has fulfilled all compensations to the residents affected by the project construction. “I have cleared everything and there is also written agreement note,” he uttered.
