Illegal Levy Complaint Post Opened in TPU

People who feel aggrieved by the service at Public Cemetery (TPU) belonging Jakarta Park and Cemetery Dept, can immediately make a complaint. Banners socialization about official funeral cost and free also been installed in every TPU.

Jakarta Park and Cemetery Dept Head, Ratna Diah Kurniati disclosed that such way is done to suppress the brokering and extortion practice by unscrupulous officers.

"Residents are welcome to contact call center at 021-5328454/5329453, including burial service for poor and displaced families," she expressed, when she welcomed a sudden inspection from member of Jakarta DPRD Commission D in Karet Bivak TPU, Wednesday (3/30).

Illegal Levies Case in Enjo Market will Be Investigated

Her dept appeals residents to be careful with people who offer services of burial in the cemetery. This is because many locals who claimed as a tomb worker often offer a tomb with a high price.

"Whereas, all is covered by the government. They just pay retribution as much as Rp 40-100 thousand. If in doubt, just contact our call center," she finished.
