Torkis Tambunan, Head Section of Water Management of Mampang Prapatan Sub-district, admitted that the area is often inundated due to clogged channel. Mud and utility disturb the water flow.

“We found many problem inside the channel such as sediment, stone, and utility cable,” he said, Thursday (3/31).

According to him, utility cable should be planted one meter deep. In fact, it is only 30 to 40 centimeter.

“Elevation will be also measured to find another problem,” he added.
