Jakarta Dept. of Transportation has conducted meeting with Jakarta Organda and City Transportation Council in order to discuss public transport fares cut. Based on meeting result, public transport fare for economy class is cut Rp 300-500.
It is hoped governor regulation (pergub) could be signed on Monday
Andri Yansyah, Jakarta Head Dept. of Transportation, said the meeting result will be submitted to Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama.
It is hoped new public transport fare could be signed by Monday (4/4). It means new public transport fare would active on Tuesday (4/5).

New public transportation fares are Rp 3,000 for small minivan (angkot), medium bus Rp 3,500, big bus Rp 3,500, Rp 6,500 for taxi’s flag fall, Rp 3,500 for per kilometer fare, and Rp 42,000 for standby.
