122,507 Senior High School Students Sit National Exams Today

As many as 122,507 students of Senior High School (SMA) in the capital are ready to sit the computer-based National Exam (UNKP) today, Monday (4/4).

Jakarta Education Dept Deputy Head, Bowo Irianto said the number of exam participants from Vocational School (SMK) is higher compared to SMA and Aliyah Islamic High School (MA).

"From public and private SMA, the number of exam participant to sit the exam is reaching 51,190 people, followed by 6,843 students from Aliyah Islamic School and 64,474 students from SMK," he told, Monday (4/4).

For those who are absent due to illness, will undergo the supplementary exam.

"Student can follow the supplementary exam, as long as there is doctor letter as evidence. It will be implemented one week after the exam is done," he closed.
