SP 3 Letter for Menteng Pulo Cemetery Occupants Issued

Since the first delivery of first warning letter (SP1) up to SP3, 50 out of 225 illegal building occupants at Menteng Pulo cemetery, Menteng Atas Urban Village, Setiabudi have leaved the area.

As many as 30 illegal buildings or huts are already empty, while the other 20 buildings have been demolished by the owners.

Tamo Sijabat, Setiabudi Sub-district Vice, said his side prepared trucks to transport occupant’s properties.

“They can register at cemetery management office. Our trucks will transport them around Jabodetabek. No operational hours. It depends on their request,” he said, Monday (4/4).

He added that there are 15 early childhood and 45 elementary up to senior high school students at the cemetery. His side will assist the school moving documents.

The illegal buildings at Menteng Pulo cemetery will be demolished on Thursday (4/7).
