221,590 Toddlers in West Jakarta Vaccinated

Around 221,590 out of 226,854 toddlers in West Jakarta underwent a polio vaccination in the National Immunization Week (PIN). It is targeted 226,854 toddlers in eight sub-districts all over Jakarta can be vaccinated simultaneously.  

As many as 221,590 toddlers in West Jakarta have been vaccinated polio or around 97.7 percent

"As many as 221,590 toddlers in West Jakarta have been vaccinated polio or around 97.7 percent," said Head of West Jakarta Health Sub-dept, Dewi Satiasari, Tuesday (4/5).

Satiasari explains, in Cengkareng Sub-district, the number of polio vaccination target is reaching 57,768 toddlers, Kalideres Sub-district with 45,223 toddlers, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district with 17,172 toddlers, Palmerah Sub-district with 17,889 toddlers.

She continued, the target and polio vaccination achievement from eight sub-districts in West Jakarta are Cengkareng with 54,892 from 57,768 toddlers or 95 percent, Kalideres with 43,436 from 45,223 or 96 percent. 

Then is Grogol Petamburan reaches 16,582 from 17.172 toddlers or 96.6 percent and Palmerah 17,430 from 17,889 toddlers or 97.4 percent.

"In Tamansari, our vaccination target is 7,926 toddlers, Kembangan 29,499 toddlers, Tambora 18,892 toddlers and Kebon Jeruk 32,485 toddlers," she furthered.

He added, nationally, PIN is targeted to reach 95 percent.

"Those who have yet to be vaccinated can do it in puskesmas," she closed.
