Ship Fare Adjustment Still Waiting for Gubernatorial Decree

Jakarta Transportation Dept is still reviewing fare adjustment for ship that serves route Kali Adem-Seribu Islands. It could be set after Gubernatorial Decree is issued.

"We have yet to set about ship fare. It should be waiting for Gubernatorial Decree first about fare rupiah per mile for ships in Seribu Islands that is still being drafted," Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, Andri Yansyah, Tuesday (4/5).

He explained, ship fare from Kali Adem towards Seribu Islands will automatically follow the conditions. The most important thing this time is accelerating imposition of ship fare rupiah per mile thus ticket fare can be minimized.

"It aims to anticipate conflict between sea and land transportation," he finished.
