South Jakarta Administration launched Ornamental Fish center in Lokbin Muria Dalam building, 2nd floor, Jalan Menteng Atas Barat, Setiabudi, Thursday (4/7).

There are 25 fish breeders listed as traders in the place. They are joint in Kelompok Tani Ikan dan Tanaman Hias Menteng Atas (Komentas).

“This place could compete with ornamental fish center on Jalan Sumenep. We’ll support urban village head to develop this place,” said Tri Kurniadi, South Jakarta Mayor, Thursday (4/7).

Jakarta Head Dept. of Cooperative, Micro Small Middle Enterprise and Trade (KUMKMP), Irwandi, admitted traders will be able to develop their business without being charged with additional fees. Daily retribution is only Rp 4,000.

“Other breeders can join with them. Ornamental fish festival can be also held here,” he stated.
