Jakarta Provincial Government is still running the trial of 3 in 1 traffic system abolition. According to temporary evaluation data, traffic jam on protocol roads increases up to 24.35 percent. Jakarta Provincial Government would apply traffic engineering to parse congestion.

Andri Yansyah, Jakarta Head Dept. of Transportation, admitted that his side tries to divert road users using alternative roads.

“Traffic engineering will be applied before and after passing 3 in 1 area. Diversion signs will be installed soon,” he said, Sunday (4/10).

He added that traffic jam increases due to alternative road users now using protocol roads.

“Traffic light would be also re-managed at 3 in 1 areas. It should not take long time, road users would go back using alternative roads,” he closed.
