City Remains to Maintain Heksagonal Market

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama revealed that his party will remain maintain the Heksagonal Market, North Jakarta. Thus residents can still trade. In Pasar Ikan, his party only demolishes buildings standing on state lands.

According to him, PD Pasar Jaya has land certificate and has full authority over the land at the market. "Whose is this landlord? PD Pasar Jaya has its land certificate. If you live in the sea, where you get the certificate? I have said, if it is about the flat, we are ready, we will relocate them," he expressed.

12 Residents Secured as Blocking Pasar Ikan Demolition

He ensured citizens affected the demolishment will be relocated to the flat. It is to hinder TBC infection. Considering our city is the second highest of TBC patients in the world.

"You know what? One person infected by TBC could infect 10 people. Does it violates the Human Rights (HAM) with children?," he explained.

As known, the city administration does demolishment in Pasar Ikan area today, Monday (4/11). Citizens have been relocated to several flats, such as Rawa Bebek Flat.
