As many as 156 school buildings in damaged condition will be repaired this year.

"Mostly damaged school is elementary school. This year, we will repair 156 schools, and physical auction will begin in the upcoming June," said Head of Jakarta Education Dept, Sopan Adrianto, Monday (4/11).
According to governor's instruction, his dept is going to school without multi-years budget. It is targeted to be complete by the end of this year.

Of the 1,078 schools in Jakarta, 47 percent are damaged. They will be repaired gradually and is targeted to be complete in 2017.
"There are around 627 schools more that must be repaired next year. Thus all schools are eligible to use," he finished.
