Stalls and Carts Belong to Street Vendor in Tanah Abang Disciplined

As much as 115 joint personnel of Satpol PP, army and police tear down tens of stalls and carts belonging street vendors in Kebon Melati Urban Village, Wednesday (4/13). It is conducted, because those open stall on the sidewalk and water channel.

Tanah Abang Sub-district Head, Hidayatullah disclosed, controlling is intensifie d to follow up public report regarding illegal vendors along Jalan Baturaja Teluk Betung and Kebon Kacang. His side also has repeatedly warned them, but it was ignored.

"We control 20 stalls and confiscate 15 carts from Jalan Baturaja and Kebon Kacang," he stated, Wednesday (4/13).

In future, the raid against illegal vendor will be intensified. 

"Those stalls then disposed to Bantar Gebang Landfill. As for the carts, could be redeem, as long as the owner undergoes the minor criminal offenses (tipiring)," he finished.
