Cililitan Inaugurated Into Kampung KB

Kampung KB launching is a follow up of President instruction to intensify the family planning program in all areas, including Jakarta

The government continues to intensify the family planning (KB) program in the capital. The way is by inaugurating Cililitan Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, becomes "Kampung KB" (family planning village).

Jakarta Family Planning, Women'€™s and Community Body (BPMPKB) Head, Dien Emmawati said Cililitan gets Kampung KB predicate because many people are already following the family planning program. Before launching, the same thing was also conducted in Cipinang Besar Utara RPTRA, Jatinegara.

"Kampung KB launching is a follow up of President instruction to intensify the family planning program in all areas, including Jakarta," she told, during launching of Kampung KB in Cililitan RPTRA, Wednesday (4/13).

According to her, next week, similar thing would be done in Cakung Barat RPTRA, East Jakarta.

 

Meanwhile, Event Committee, Muhammad Idrus said, launching was attended by 500 residents. There are cadres of field information officers in the KB program (PLKB), supporting officers of Family Planning at RW level, apparatuses of RT/RW, public figures, religious figures, Early Awareness Society Forum (FKDM) and so on.

"The event is interspersed with KB counseling by bringing keynote speakers from National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) and hospital," he finished.
