Before Marketing Product, Every Developer must Be Audited

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat asks the developer must be audited first before marketing their products to the public. Moreover, many developers sell only the design without physical building.

"We have to check first before buying, because many developers sell their products but the physical is zero," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (4/13).

According to him, the audit also serves to protect the public as consumers. Thus people do not be fooled by the developer who only sells the pictures.

Developer Obligation must Be Set in Bylaw

He added, developer products that can be audited by the accountants are restaurants, hotels and other business units that have the tax potential that must be paid to local governments.
