Water conduits along Jalan Teuku Cik Ditiro, Menteng, Central Jakarta were improved by Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Bina Marga. The effort was done since the water conduits were obstructed by trash and mud.

Aris Komaris Nandika, head of agency, said the cleaning is important to avoid puddle during rain. If the water conduits are obstructed, water can not flow to channel.

“We improved and deepened 10 water conduits, as well as adding three more,” he said, Monday (4/18).

Besides improving water conduits, his side also improved sidewalk along five meter and four manholes. Personnel also cleaned water channel around the area.

“We deployed 14 personnel today,” he closed.
