Temporary Lightings Added for 14 City Forests

Temporary spotlights will be installed at 14 city forests in Jakarta. The effort is aimed to keep forests productivity and prevent crime.

Previously, Dept. of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Tenacity has asked for additional installation. But Kembangan Utara and Srengseng Sawah have no jogging track

Syamsul Bakhri, Jakarta Head Lighting for Dept. of Industry and Energy, said every city forest is installed with 400 watt spotlight.

"Previously, Dept. of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Tenacity has asked for additional installation. But Kembangan Utara and Srengseng Sawah have no jogging track," he said, Tuesday (4/19).

‎As for ideal condition, his side will propose budget in city budget amendment. There are 62 spots to be added with spotlight.

"90 watts LED lights to be installed replacing the temporary spotlight. Its pole has a leave nuance," he added.

Spotlights installation for city forests in East Jakarta sre Ujung Menteng, Munjul, and Dukuh. West Jakarta are Kembangan Utara, Srengseng and Rawa Buaya.

For North Jakarta sre Rawamalang, Rorotan, and Sukapura. For South Jakarta are Srengseng Sawah, Pondok Labu, and Cipedak.
