As many as 39 illegal buildings in Pacuan Kuda Pulomas, RT 08/16, Kayu Putih, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, were demolished. Later on, the 8,000 meter square land will be used as Equestrian venue for Asean Games 2018.

Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, those 39 buildings were demolished by backhoe. Only one building did not demolished by the personnel. It is a church.

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana, said those 39 buildings are five main buildings with one church and four mess. 34 buildings are semi-permanent with 71 doors. People occupied the buildings since 1970.

“The owners have been relocated to Pulogebang flat, including 15 households of Pacuan Kuda Pulomas worker,” he said, Wednesday (4/20).

According to him, 81 out of 87 households have been relocated to Pulogebang flat since last week. The other six households are going back to their hometown.
