Pesanggrahan Riverbank is Greened

West Jakarta Administration is conducting greening on Pesanggrahan Riverbank, Jalan Adhi Karya, RT 15/05, Kedoya Selatan, Kebon Jeruk. It is conducted by planting tens of productive trees, such as mango, soursop, sapodilla and others.

Greening is also to protect government asset from other sides

Kebon Jeruk Sub-district Head, M Asyiik Noorholmany disclosed that tree planting on the riverbank is an effort to green the environment.

"Greening is also to protect government asset from other sides," he stated, Wednesday (4/20).

He expressed, previously, the riverbank was occupied by illegal hut. But those had been controlled some time ago. It is also a form of arrangement thus the land looks green and lush.

"We hope locals can contribute in maintaining the trees, thus they can also take advantage of the fruit later," he closed.
