Street Vendors in Ancol Controlled

Street vendors along Jalan Ancol Barat I, Jalan Ancol Barat III and Jalan Karang Bolong, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan, were controlled. As many as 32 stalls and carts were secured.

Ancol Urban Village Head, Sumpeno, said the control was done by 30 joint personnel of Satpol PP, army, and police, as well as PPSU. Previously, street vendors existence was complained by pedestrian.

“Their existence has caused the area looked slum,” he said, Wednesday (4/20).

32 Stalls on Jalan Sunter Jaya V Controlled

According to him, his side has several times controlling the street vendors. But they always come back. His side will deploy personnel guarding the area to prevent being occupied by street vendors again.
