Illegal Buildings in Kali Adem to Be Demolished

Hundreds of illegal semi-permanent building along Kali Adem riverbank and Kali Gendong, Muara Angke, Pluit, Penjaringan will be controlled. The effort will be run as river normalization program.

Purnomo, Pluit Urban Village Head, admitted total length of area to be controlled is 1.5 kilometer. It is predicted 300 buildings to be executed.

According to him, of 300 buildings only 100 of them are used as settlement. The rests are used as warehouse, small business, and so on.

According to the plan, building execution will take place in mid July, after Eid ul Fitr. His side has summoned 150 residents for socialization.
