Connecting channel on Jalan Narada, Tanah Tinggi Urban Village, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta was dredged by Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management.
Mud thickness is 50-70 cm
Head Section of Maintenance for the agency, Boris Karlop Lumbangaol, admitted the dredging has been started since Thursday (4/7) ago. More than 1,200 mud sacks have been transported.
“Dredging must be carried out since channel is already full with mud and trash. Mud thickness is 50-70 cm,” he said, Friday (4/22).
