9,984 Rotten Chicken Wiped Out in C. Jakarta

The monitoring of rotten chicken (tiren) in several slaughterhouses in Central Jakarta keeps conducted by Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Maritime, Fishery and Food Tenacity (KPKP). As the result, thousands of rotten chicken were wiped out from January to April.

We have wiped out 9,984 rotten chickens since January to April

M Mulyadi, head of agency, admitted there are 19 slaughterhouses in Central Jakarta spread at four sub-districts. Those are Johar Baru, Kemayoran, Cempaka Putih, and Senen.

“We have wiped out 9,984 rotten chickens since January to April,” he said, Monday (4/25).

Moreover, he also involved slaughterhouse owner to wipe out rotten chicken based on standard operational procedure.

“They also sign a statement letter. If the wiping out is not based on SOP, their business will be closed down,” he added.
