Basuki Invites Citizens Campaigning We Love Cities

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama invites Jakarta citizens participating in We Love Cities competition. It is hoped Jakarta could be the Most Loveable Sustainable City this year.

“We need support from the citizens to be the Most Loveable Sustainable City,” he said, Tuesday (4/26).
Basuki admitted will socialize this competition through his social media like instagram, facebook, and twitter.
Jakarta is one of participants during the competition. Other cities are Bogor and Balikpapan.
He appealed the citizens supporting Jakarta via website www.welovecities.org.
I Nyoman Iswara Yoga, Director of Communication and Advocation for Indonesia WWF, admitted civil servants are able to participate. One electronic device can be used to support for one person.
We Love Cities campaign is held for eight week starting from April 26 to June 19, 2016. The announcement is slated on June 22, 2016 together with winner cities at EHCC 2016
