Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama disclosed that a groundbreaking of Light Rail Transit (LRT) will be conducted in the upcoming June. It will become a gift for Jakarta's anniversary

City Awaits Perpres and PP Revision for LRTSuch project will be started from depots, that is Kelapa Gading. It is hoped all preparation could be completed in the near future, thus groundbreaking could be done.
"This project will be started from Kelapa Gading area, Pegangsaan. I hope it could run well," he hoped.
Jakarta Environmental Management Agency (BPLHD) Head, Junaedi added that it needs one month to complete the Environmental Impact Analysis (Amdal). The initial stage is socialization to the residents around corridor.
"We'll do socialization first. And then continued to Amdal. Several documents must be completed. it is approximately one month," he closed.
