I've proposed under Klender Flyover to be transformed into park and ride. Governor has agreed it, and then wait for its realization from Parking Technical Management Unit (UPT)

"I've proposed under Klender Flyover to be transformed into park and ride. Governor has agreed it, and then wait for its realization from Parking Technical Management Unit (UPT)," said Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana, Tuesday (4/26).

Musyawardana disclosed the land as high as 2,000 square meters was previously misused by street vendor for trading. And now the land is already clean from vendor and illegal building. His side assessed, it is very suitable for park and ride site.

92 PKL Under Klender Flyover will Be Relocated

"Especially to serve locals who want to ride the train and visit to the Klender SS Market. Considering the market parking condition is full," he explained.

He assessed, if the land was planted with garden and tree, it would be misused by the vendor again. In future, it will be managed by Jakarta BLUD Parking, instead of PT KAI and mass organization.

"Thus parking money can increase parking retribution revenue," he closed.
