Water channel on Jalan Kwitang Raya, Senen, Central Jakarta is cleaned by Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management. The dredging is carried out since channel is full with mud.
After being checked, the channel is full with mud up to 50 cm of thickness
Head Section of Maintenance for Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management, Boris Karlop Lumbangaol, admitted the effort is also based on citizens’ report on Qlue. Water can not flow maximally.
“After being checked, the channel is full with mud up to 50 cm of thickness,” he said, Wednesday (4/27).
Channel on Jalan Jambu Menteng DredgedAccording to him, the 200 meter channel has 12 control boxes. The boxes are opened to ease the dredging. It is predicted to complete in May.
“We deploy 12 personnel,” he added.
