National Exam for SMP Keeps Being Finalized

Preparation of National Exam at Junior High School level keeps being finalized. According to the schedule, the exam will run on May 9-12, 2016.

Jakarta Education Dept Head, Sopan Adrianto disclosed, as previous year, most of the national exam this year is still using paper-based exam.

"This is because many private schools' facilities are not ready yet. And for us, there have been 113 schools applied computer-based exam," he expressed, Tuesday (4/26).

160 Liters Diesel Fuel Spent for National Exam

According to him, in the upcoming 2017, the entire schools will apply computer-based exam. For schools that have not been ready, to be offered at SMP schools that had already exams.

"If it is lacking, we will coordinate with some universities. If the budget is approved next year, we plan to apply computer-based exam in all schools," he disclosed.
