"Marunda Flat's door is damaged, surely we will repair it. Indeed it was the old project," said Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, at City Hall, Thursday (4/28).

Residents are appealed to make a report if the flat is damaged. Jakarta Housing and Government Building Dept will inventory it.

"In the flat, we will cover repair costs and do the repair also," he expressed.

Basuki acknowledged will not burden the people with the flat reparation. In contrast, if they rent a house in another place, all the costs covered by the tenant.

"If you rent with people by Rp 400-600 thousand, then the house's window is damaged, surely you must spend money to repair it. But not in the flat," he finished.
