Seribu Islands Administration is going to apply the Bylaw No. 3/2013 on Garbage Handling. Socialization about its implementation will be conducted in the next month.

"We will install banners in the strategic places, thus people can easily read it," said Muhammad Anwar, Deputy Regent of Seribu Islands, Thursday (4/28).

Anwar expressed, after socialization, his party would form a monitoring team in residential islands, resort islands and private islands. Later on, the locals would be reminded about sanction if they violate the rule.

"If they do litter, we will seize the ID card and must undergo misdemeanor trial (tipiring) and pay a fine of Rp 100-200 thousand," he finished.
