5 RWs in Ciracas Are Prone to Flooding

Four locations that spread in five RWs in Ciracas, East Jakata are categorized as flood-prone site. Ironically, it is mostly triggered by overflowing water of Cipinang River, because the river flow is still shallow and needs to be normalized.

Ciracas Sub-district Head, Rommy Sidharta disclosed, three flood-prone areas are located at the border of Susukan and Ciracas urban villages, RW 12 Cibubur near a bridge of Jalan Kiwi, as well as Kelapa Dua Wetan and Ciracas urban villages, precisely at RW 02 and 09 Kelapa Dua Wetan.

In addition, it is also located at RW 03 Kampung Rambutan, precisely near SMPN 257 and in a bridge of RW 02 Rambutan, Jalan Depsos.

"There are four flood-prone areas in Ciracas Sub-district. This is due to shallow river," he stated, Friday (4/29).

He hoped, the river flow could be normalized as soon as possible, especially bridge of Jalan Kiwi as long as 100 meters. Yet the heavy equipment cannot enter due to citizen building.
