In the near future, about 106 out of 1,531 students at level of junior high school (SMP) in the capital will sit computer-based national exam on May 9.

"1,425 schools are still using paper-based national exam," expressed Head of Jakarta Education Dept, Sopan Adrianto, Monday (5/2).
Adrianto disclosed, those students who will sit the upcoming exam are 153,011 people. "Then 17,098 students will sit computer-based exam, and the rest 135,913 other students will sit paper-based exam," he stated.
SMP National Exam Material Distributed Next WeekThis year's exam is not main factor of graduation students. To continue to the next level, there is another score that must be met in addition to the exam score.
As planned, the exam sheets will begin to be distributed two days before implementation.
