Smart City Ready to Support 2018 Asian Games

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama disclosed that Jakarta Smart City is ready to support the 2018 Asian Games. It was conveyed after Basuki attended a joint meeting with Minister of Political, Legal and Security, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Jl Medan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta.

"Mr. Luhut wants the Local Area Network (LAN) to be involved in a technology thus our nation has local production," he expressed, at City Hall, Monday (5/2).

According to him, Smart City is also a local product. Eventually, some content will be merged. "So there is Huawei to help technology. But us, we have formed Smart City," he stated.

2018 Asian Games to Involve 36,000 Volunteers

Later on, Smart City would be involved in the upcoming Asian Games. Thus guests who visit to Jakarta will feel safe and comfortable.

"We are prepared how to support the Asian Games with Smart City, put up for security and comfort of life for those who visit to Jakarta," he finished.
