35,652 Students of SMP Ready to Sit National Exam

Thousands of students at Junior High School (SMP) level that spread in East Jakarta are ready to sit the national exam on the upcoming Monday (5/9). Recorded, as much as 326 schools will participate. From that number, 19 out of them will sit the computer-based exam.

In region 2, from 112 schools, 50 out of them are 50 public SMP, 58 private SMP, 3 Open SMP and 1 SPK

East Jakarta Region 2 Education Sub-dept, Ungkadi disclosed those 326 schools are divided into some regions. In details, there are region 1 (214 schools) and region 2 (112 schools). As for the 19 schools that apply computer-based exam, are spread in region 1 (6 schools) and region 2 (13 schools).

Computer-Based Exam Participant for SMP Remains Low

"In region 2, from 112 schools, 50 out of them are 50 public SMP, 58 private SMP, 3 Open SMP and 1 SPK," he told, Saturday (5/7).

Totally, as much as 35,652 students will sit the exam. They consist of region 1 (19,327 students) and region 2 (16,325 students). 3,723 out of 35,652 students will sit the computer-based exam, consisting of 2,517 students from region 1 and 1,206 from region 2.

Meanwhile, Head of East Jakarta Region 1 Education Sub-dept, Ari Budiman said some students will sit the B-package exam in prisons. They are Cipinang Class 1 with 16 students and Cipinang Drugs Prison with 14 students.

"It will be held on Monday at 1 PM," he closed.
