As many as 347 students of SMPN 49 Kramat Jati, East Jakarta sit for computer-based national exam (UNBK), Monday (5/9). Students prefer with UNBK compared to paper-based or common exam. Previously, they have familiar with computer operation during daily learning activity in school.

Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, the exam in SMPN 49 is implemented on fourth floor. Each classroom is filled with 36 students. Shifting is applied during the exam. First shift is 7.30 AM to 9.30 AM, and second shift is 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM.
Kartinia (14), one of the students, admitted happy with UNBK. She is easier to concentrate compared with paper-based exam.
National Exam Preparation is Good, Basuki Says“I have ready to face this exam. Trial was run everyday,” she said.
Meanwhile, SMPN 49 Headmaster, Sulastri, stated UNBK has been applied in the school routinely. The school also use computer for daily exam.
“We already familiar with UNBK system as well as the students,” she stated.
