"There will be 10 old pumps replaced this year. It is still under auction stage," said Head of Jakarta Water Management Dept, Teguh Hendrawan, at City Hall, Monday (5/9).
Most are spread in Tomang (West Jakarta), Ancol, Sunter Utara and Dewa Ruci (North Jakarta) as well as another one in Kali Item‎.

"It will happen, as long as auction process can run well," he stated.
Thus far, the city has 451 pumps. Some are unoptimal and always causing 56 points of inundation when rain pours.
