33 Illegal Buildings in Rawa Bunga Controlled

As many as 33 illegal buildings standing on water channel and roadside were demolished by 115 joint personnel of urban village, sub-district, Satpol PP and army/police, Tuesday (5/10). The buildings that located at Jl Bekasi Barat Dalam, RW 01 Rawa Bunga, Jatinegara, East Jakarta already existed for more than 35 years.

Rawa Bunga Urban Village Head, Agustina disclosed the building has disturbed public order. Besides channel, they are also built on the roadside until narrowing its space.

"We demolish the building forcibly, considering out warning was ignored by the owner," he stressed.

15 Illegal Buildings on Jl Kebon Pala Controlled

Those buildings consist of 12 homes, 10 stalls of bird and 11 stalls of chicken. They will be relocated to Locomotive Market and Cipinang Kebembem Market.

After this, the land function will be restored as park and neighborhood road. Then the channel will be refunctioned due to damage.
