Many project debris are disposed to the channel

Sjarifudin, Rawa Barat Urban Village Head, said clogged channel is also caused by Ciledug - Tendean flyover project.

“Many project debris are disposed to the channel,” he said.

According to him, many buildings have changed their designation. It means the channel is also contaminated with waste.

“They have no good waste management, and it dirties the channel also,” he added.

As for temporary solution, PPSU personnel uncover manholes and clean the channel. It also aims to smooth water flow into Ciragil river.
