East Jakarta Administration is going to hold Car Free Day (HBKB) on Sunday (4/27) at 6-11 AM. According to the schedule, the event will be held on Jalan Pemuda, Rawamangun, Pulogadung. Regarding traffic flows setting, East Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department has prepared several alternative accesses.

According to Hutajulu, his party will close Jalan Pemuda starting from Jalan Pemuda – Jalan Paus (Arion) until Jalan Pemuda – Jalan Bekasi Raya. However, the closing does not apply to TransJakarta bus operational.
Here are several alternative accesses prepared during the Car Free Day is held:
- Vehicles coming from Jalan Ahmad Yani and Jalan Pemuda towards Bekasi will be rerouted to Jalan Pemuda – Jalan Balap Sepeda – Jalan Kayu Putih – Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan – Jalan Raya Bekasi;
- Vehicles from Jalan Ahmad Yani and Jalan Pramuka towards Pulogadung will be directed to Jalan Pemuda – Jalan Paus – Jalan Penggambiran – Jalan Alu-alu – Jalan Jatinegara Kaum – Jalan Raya Bekasi;
- Vehicles heading to Jalan Pahhlawan Revolusi or Pondok Bambu will be rerouted to Jalan Pemuda – Jalan Paus – Jalan Penggambiran – Jalan Alu Alu – Jalan Jatinegara Kaum – Jalan Raya Bekasi – Jalan Pahlawan Revolusi.
“Our officers will be in the field during the Car Free Day is held. Road users are expected to obey traffic signs and follow the instructions of the officers in the field,” uttered Hutajulu.
