3 Months, 77 DBD Cases Happened in Kapuk

The case of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DBD) is increasing in the capital city. As recorded along January to March 2014, a total of 77 cases of dengue fever have happened in Kapuk Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-District, West Jakarta. This amount increases compared to the same period last year which only 60 cases.
At this time, from 16 RWs in Kapuk Urban Village, two RWs have applied this sanction, namely RW 03 and RW 09
Head of Kapuk Urban Village, M Risan H Muhtar, detailed that from those 77 cases, 14 cases happened in January, 34 in February, and 29 in March. To minimize dengue fever case, his party cooperates with 16 RWs to monitor the presence of mosquito larvae. Later, those RWs will give sanction to their residents to handout two flower pots if in their house there were dengue mosquito larvae.

At this time, from 16 RWs in Kapuk Urban Village, two RWs have applied this sanction, namely RW 03 and RW 09 . It is expected that in the future other RWs would immediately implement this sanction,” he uttered, Friday (4/25).Rohili (43), a resident of RW 03 Kapuk, said he does not mind about that sanction and support it, because it is for the health and safety of the residents.
