Satpol PP personnel combed street vendor areas in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Sunday (5/15). The effort is aimed to prevent street vendor selling on sidewalk and roadside.

Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Iyan Sophian Hadi, admitted the effort is done to appeal the street vendor not selling on public facilities.

Street Vendor Supervision in Tanah Abang AdvancedBesides patrolling, his side also prepares two teams on Jalan KH Mas Mansyur or precisely on Jalan Kebon Kacang 1 to 6, and one team at Al Makmur Mosque, two teams at Block G and Tanah Abang Station, and one team at Block A and B on Jalan Jati Bunder.
“One team consists of five personnel for weekdays, and 10 personnel for weekend,” he added.
