Head of Jakarta Cleanliness Dept, Isnawa Adji said there are currently 376 waste banks that spread in 5 cities.

"It is not ideal yet, considering there are only 2,000 waste banks in RW. In future, we hope can add its existence in future," he expressed, during the discussion of 2017 SKPD working unit supervision, Wednesday (5/18).

According to him, additional waste bank can be done in all schools and markets gradually in each RW. Thus it can reduce waste heaps.

"As planned, we will also allocate the waste chopper machine, it is to motivate residents. So a lot of waste can be processed," he finished.
