West Jakarta Headmen Prohibited to Use Citizens

Mayor of West Jakarta, Anas Effendi instructs 56 headmen to directly control cleanliness of citizen residential in the field.

"If there is garbage heaps in the river and water channel, they (headmen) must order PPSU officer to fix it," he stated, Wednesday (5/18).

Anas asks RT/RW to make a report of every headman performance. A number of the complaints will be referred to the assessment. One of the activities that could be seen is cleanliness of rivers, channels and residential from garbage.

Headmen Who Take Profit from PPSU Finally Recorded

He also reminds headman performance does not only monitor locations that will be visited by the governor.

"Don't pairs of your eyes and ears to find out, where will the governor visit? So we're working instead of sticking to it, but carry out duties as instructed, thus the governor come at any time, we are safe," he said.
