77 Joint Officers Conduct Patuh Jaya Operation at Jl Otista Raya

Around 77 joint officers of Garrisun, (POMDAM) are conducting the Patuh Jaya Operation on Jl Otista Raya, Bidaracina, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Thursday (5/19). Before operation, they did a joint ceremony at East Jakarta Sport Hall (GOR), which is located exactly in front of it.

In the operation, all vehicles that violate rules are stopped by the officer, particularly the vehicles that use Transjakarta lanes in two directions. As a result, they are ticketed by the officer. This involves a joint raid Garnison, Military Police (POMDAM) Jaya, East Jakarta Traffic Unit, and Transportation Sub-Dept.

Head of Garnisun 1 Military Police Unit Jakarta, Mayor CPM Budi Prasojo disclosed the raid is targeting vehicles that violate the traffic rules. Even those using military plate and its attribute will be followed up, including riders who wear military uniform will be stopped and checked.

Patuh Jaya Operation Tickets 18,221 Offenders

"Besides that, we also control civilian vehicles with military attributes. This is to reduce the misuse of military attributes," he stressed.

According to him, military attributes to be removed is in every car or motorcycle. It also applies to the riders who wear camouflage jacket or military attributes. Thus far the number of vehicles that has been controlled is still unknown.
