Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama said additional contribution is used to construct infrastructure in the capital. The contribution is taken not in form of money, but goods.

“Additional contribution for infrastructure is prevalent in this world,” he said, Friday (5/20).

Basuki added that additional contribution is different with CSR. CSR means company gives after-tax profit to local residents. But additional contribution gives another burden for developer without reducing the profit.

All company must give their CSR to local residents. Maximum is three percent from the profit.

“Additional contribution means adding burden for company. And it is surely reducing the profit but not disadvantaging them,” he added.
